Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reiterated that partitioning Kosovo is a war, and according to him, US Ambassador Greg Delaway's statement has been wrongly interpreted by the media.
These comments were made during his visit to the Lipjan municipality, with which he met with the first of the municipality, Imri Ahmeti.
“What someone says is something else, nobody can stop it, I have repeated and repeat the division is war, I know no one wants war in the Balkans”, he said.
According to him, US Ambassador Greg Delaway's statement has been misinterpreted, as US ambassador said he could speak up, but has not said partitioning Kosovo is a topic in the dialogue in Brussels.
I think it's the wrong interpretation from the media that the ambassador's statement from the media, by us in Kosovo, I know the American position. The first position, then, of the first American position is that they are not committed to solutions, but only if the parties agree. The possibility of a verb on a subject is something else and the option of separation is something else. So no one can stop anyone talking, so the ambassador said they might talk, but he didn't say it was a topic even Americans have no red lines, but Americans have recognised Kosovo's independence with this Constitution, with this territory we are sovereign”, Haradinaj said.
Otherwise, US Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delaway in a media interview has not denied the possibility of discussing territories in Brussels
