Hahn's visit comes after the EU Council's decision to set a deadline for opening negotiations for Albania in June 2019, writes Top Channel.

Currently, he is in Skopje where he will then visit Tirana. The published agenda suggests that in Tirana Eurocommissioner Hahn will meet with President Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama and representatives of Albania's government, but not with the head of the Parliament, Gramoz Ruci and DP's Lulzim Basha.
