The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports it has recently increased demand for equipment with biometric passports. In a written response to Radio Kosovo the Office for Information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs says that “currently has increased demand for passport equipment, this is due to increased exiles”. But according to statistics from the ministry so far, 984 thousand and 973 citizens who have been equipped with biometric passports, while there are more than 465 thousand with non-biometric passports. ”
And citizens do not show any increased interest in the news of positive visa recommendation. Some of them are not very optimistic that this may happen soon. But there are others who have recommended free movement has influenced them to exchange their passport:

Otherwise, citizens after visa liberalisation cannot go to all EU countries, so they are exempting the UK and Ireland. It is worth stressing that the passport must be biometric and the maximum stay will be 90 days. We remember, that adults who issue biometric passports must pay 30 euros, 20 euros for children up to 18 years old, 15 euros for pensioners and 50 euros for citizens who want to be provided with emergency passports.
