Greece's ashes, people to escape fire attack the sea, hundreds dead

Hundreds of tourists have been evacuated from the coasts, while three women and one child drowned in the sea in an effort to escape fire that has included the Athens region.
In an extreme “cysset” with strong winds of up to 65 miles and temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius, the fire has covered Greek questions, causing widespread damage to farms.
Rescue officials have found 26 bodies in one house, many of them embraced in a field less than 100m from the sea, and near a villa in the coastal town of Matt, a 15 - mile [25 km] northeast of the capital.
The move has been made in military boats, and private ones have also come to the aid of military helicopters who have mobilised the area to help the endangered.
