A while ago, the German Health Minister declared there are 250,000 free jobs in the German Republic for nurses. He specified countries like Albania and Kosovo for the high educational level that have our nurses and for the equally high motivation they have to build their future in Germany.

The Dekra Academy has been running for three years in Albania. Academy Director Jonida Djubzi Bush says: “Every nurse who wants to be employed in Germany must have a B2-level certificate, should take the German license exam, and then the employers come to us to select nurses who want”.

Dekra has contracts with employers in Germany. The academy began its activity in 2015, and eventually it offers courses for IT engineers. This academy has subsidiarys in 10 Albanian cities.

Raldo and Arsina are engaged, both graduating nurses.

A hospital has denied me for lack of experience. I've taken care of a few other things.

They both finished school for six years. Now they have signed a working contract with a clinic in Erfurt and have assigned themselves to overcome any initial difficulties and not to return to Albania.

Other coursers are joined by the same goal - escape.

There's no stability here. We live hard, we survive”, the coursers say.

There are about 800 nurses employed so far in Germany by this academy, while some of them have ended up in newspaper articles for the better. In one case, an article dedicated to an Albanian nurse is called “Salvation coming from Albania”
