Asked about his vision of Europe, the French head of state estimated that the architecture of the continent would expand in the years to come. ” I see a wide circle that is probably beyond the 27th, something similar between the European Union and the current Council of Europe, which will form an expanded Europe, less integrated than the EU, but many researchers regarding its values” he stressed. The second circle will no doubt be something between the current European Union and the eurozone, according to Macron, which will represent a single strong market, a policy of sovereignty, trade, research, innovation and a complete freedom of movement within it. The third circle will be” the heart of the reactor” with a common currency, a highly integrated labour market and a real social convergence.
