Erdogan spoke at a media conference after meeting with his party's parliamentary group, the “Hurriyet” reported, the Periscopi broadcast.
The decision by Ozil and the position it took is completely national and domestic. It's much more than an assessment. I wish him, because such a racist approach because of his religion towards a young man who gave everything to the German national team, contributing to his team's successes, was totally unacceptable”, Erdogan said.
