Turkey's President Recep Tayip Erdoğan met yesterday with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Johannesburg, within the framework of the BRUCS summit, AA reports.
“Any solidarity between us and Russia really causes jealousy of some”, Erdoğan said.
The two leaders are expected to discuss mainly about Syria and exchange opinions on Tehran's upcoming summit as part of the Astana process.
After welcoming speeches, the meeting continued on closed doors.
