The staff from the EURZH offices in Pristina, Tirana and London have collected about 80,000 euros for cancer children over the past year, which have grown with an additional donation of 50,000 euros from the EURZH in London.
Kosovo office chief Neil Taylor will visit the Children's Oncology Clinic today at 1:30 to hand over the check with the total amount of Kosovo Children's Care Foundation.
Care for Kosovo Children ensures that all children at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (the main hospital dealing with children with cancer in Kosovo) take the drugs they need. The foundation has been working on voluntary bases since 2013.
In July 2017, the EURZH community initiative began to support the foundation with 25 employees from offices in Pristina and Tirana, as well as at the headquarters of the Bank of London. The road collection campaign lasted until January 2018 and included concerts in Pristina, Tirana and at the Bank's headquarters in London. During the campaign, the bank staff went to a fun visit to the oncological children's music clinic and gifts, filmed by the national television station KTV. Among the visitors were singer Shpat Deda, an EURZH worker at the time who brought his guitar. Followed by all colleagues from the office, two staff members -- Vlora Avdiu Burani and Iron Neziri -- wore Disney suits to entertain children.
The EURZH's Ceku will be handed over to Sevim Cinci from SfKK and the director of the clinic's department, Violeta Gajqevci Uka.
