Dodik: Republika Srpska issue not separate from Kosovo issue

The final resolution if viewed formally belongs to Serbia. But both the Serbs and those of us who live here and as members of that people, we feel that we have legitimate rights in an important, historical, national, and national matter. Our position is that this issue should not be separated from the issue of the status of Republika Srpska”, Dodik has said in an interview for the Serbian media “Telegraf”.

He has said he cannot only for Serbs to apply to different conditions.

“How it is possible for someone to come to Kosovo and say despite the fact that you consider that it territorially belongs to Serbia is a different state. And we here in Bosnia are told, you must remain silent. Because it's some kind of foreign experiment”, Dodik added, broadcast Time.net.

In his words, the Serbian national issue is complex, but he thinks Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has managed to put that issue back on, because it has been completely lost.

The majority of Serbs had agreed that it is over and that one day the verification of Kosovo will only happen. There has been a powerful, politically organised structure in northern Kosovo, which existed there, but the great pressure of the West has brought that structure to an end. I think Vucinqi has managed to bring the talks back to date and that there is no final solution without the position of Serbs”, he stressed.

He says Vuciqi is developing a responsible state policy in relation to Kosovo.

Dodik has reiterated that the state of Kosovo will not be recognised by Bosnia and Herzegovina as long as it is in power.

Republika Srpska's president in Bosnia is convinced that one day this Republic will join Serbia in a single state, and that it bases “on the people's will”.
