Decision made for the person who attacked the prosecutor

E.G. has been assigned detention measures in length of 1 (one) month, from dt.23.07.2018 to dt. 23.08.2018.

“Around 11:00 p.m., in the Hall of Justice, exactly in the corridor of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the defendant E.G. after the completion of a court hearing attended by the state prosecutor who had been injured B.I, acted that way by addressing the Prosecutor in a loud voice, had approached the same one and attacked him by taking hold of the arm, then had even tried to push him towards the entrance of the corridor, then the injured man had demanded by the suspect to issue, but this one with a constant aggression in the presence of security officials and had continued to hurt him and threatened him. I.” says the Court's argument for the appointment of the detention measure.

The court has found that the request for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees E.G. is adequate and necessary in this phase of procedure, for ensuring his presence in criminal procedure and the unhindered development of the procedure.
