Demac was known for symbol of resistance, spending a total of 28 years in prison for his political engagement.
Xhelal Pakasica, the man who for decades was a companion of Adem Demach, indicated that Demach changed his life into his own hands. The minority for Kosovo Press has explained that this same day, when Demaci passed away, they were together for coffee at noon.

Adam Demach passed away yesterday at the age of 82.
