It is our goal to create necessary conditions for the community of the blind

Today, I waited at the meeting for the chairman of the Kosovo Blind Association, Mr. Daut Tishuk, with whom I talked about concerns raised by the blind community about the issue of the Burimore Centre's “Dr object. James Deda”, Pec.

In this regard, I have expressed regret at the concerns they have, where to get the first information, we have taken the necessary steps in opposing such actions, even immediately contacted the ministries involved in this process and the Pec municipality. After the held meetings, we agreed that such an action would not take place until we take an official stance from the Kosovo Source Centre itself and the Association of Blinds, and I strongly believe that we will close this issue in the best possible way and will soon make an adequate decision.

As for training and offering programs for the blind, I expressed our attitude that we are interested in supporting all categories of special needs and that their demands will be considered, and will be treated seriously at any time.

MAST will offer its support with all the possibilities of providing training, but financial support within the Ministry's reach, and we will even seek support from donors, because the real education and creation of the necessary conditions for this category of our society are very important.
