Officer Samantha Gunan lost his emotions, and then his life was coming out of the cave, where he had sent oxygen tanks. Authorities said the 38-year-old diver's task was to send oxygen to the deep cave, but he did not have enough when he was coming back.
The diver's death clearly highlights the difficulty of cave operations, above all the enormous challenge of getting the boys out of there, by sinking.
Authorities said losing divers is a tragedy, but it will not contain operations to save the boys at all. Rescue teams are training boys as much as they can with masks and oxygen tanks, since diving seems the only way out of the cave.
The rainy season has arrived, and the projected rains will flood even more the cave, so authorities have no choice but to try to pull out small football players in the way a professional diver lost his life.
