That business eliminates national divisions best testifies to the last case of the arrest of five people from south and north of Mitrovica, suspected that by their actions they were involved in the work of the drug lab that was discovered by police in the village of Cukiq of Zubin Potok.
Kosova Prees has learned it is about three Albanians and two Serbs, one of them women, and all from the city of Mitrovica.
Arrested with initials A.A., B.C., B.V., R.K. and D. P, (full known names for editing) are allegedly involved in the work of this laboratory that has served to process drugs like heroin and morphine.
Three of these people are currently under house arrest, while the other two have been assigned the 30-day detention measure. They allegedly helped each in its own form in the laboratory's work, which has served to process different narcotics through drugs, acids, tablets and the like, which help produce synthetic drugs and psycho-active substances”, have said KosovoPress sources, adding that there are still persons involved but that are in the search of police.
Kosova Prees has contacted the Kosovo Police General Directorate to get additional details about those arrested, but the latter have not given names.
According to police, in the continuation of operational and law enforcement actions, dated 05.06.2018 in northern Mitrovica, at Zubin Potok, on the Court's orders, police have implemented its activities with the aim of preventing and combating narcotics trafficking.
As a result of police action, during control in a mountainous country, a laboratory has been discovered in an improvised laboratory that was suspected of serving in the processing of synthetic drugs, several drugs, four long weapons, some radio connections and other suspected devices that have been confiscated in quality of material evidence. Kosovo police have managed to identify two suspected persons who are allegedly involved in this criminal activity, one Serb from Kosovo, and the other Serb from Serbia, who are on the run. Kosovo police in co-operation and co-ordination with justice bodies are continuing with investigations, KosovoPress's response reportedly sent through E-mail.
