The entrances of foreign citizens coming to Albania to spend holidays have marked a net increase of 23.9% in June, compared to the same period last year, Italian portal albanianews writes, follows the ATSH.
According to statistics from the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), there are actually about 500,000 foreigners who arrived in Albania early this month.
More than half of them have declared on the Albanian border that they will spend holidays, albinfo.ch conveys.
Macedonians (+ 58.3%) and Poles (+ 16.9%) are the ones who have registered the biggest growth.

If considered that in the first half of 2018, the total number of foreign citizens who entered Albania was about 1.9 million, that would mean a 9.1% increase compared to the same period a year ago.
What easily stands out (-0.4%) is the decline in the number of Kosovo citizens, being replaced by tourists from other countries, such as the US and European countries.
