Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published “Recurture statistics in Kosovo” for 2017. The data on this publication has been submitted according to the Kosovo Foundation Court's Department of Administrative Data database 2017, where a total of 172 statistical divorce sheets of SK-1 were collected.
This data shows that in Kosovo in 2017, 17 pairs have reportedly been divorced.
Of them, male Albanian belonging to 97.5%, Serbian 0.3%, Turkish 0.2%, Bosniak 0.6%, Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian were 0.7% and others 0.1%.
The divorced women according to ethnic affiliation were 84.0% Albanian, Serbian 0.5%, Turkish 0.2%, Bosniak 0.8%, Roma, Ashkalic and Egyptian 0.8% and others 13.7%.
According to the duration of the marriage, the first year is dominated by 13.4%, the second year by 13.2%, and less than a year. 9.6 % of the divorced.
Women aged 25-29 with 230 divorces, or 21.5 %, were dominated by men by the age of 30-34 by 228, or 21.3%.
According to school preparation, they dominate women and men in high school. The number of women in this category is 332, or 31.0%, men's 390, or 36.4%.
The largest number of divorced mates are childless with 68.9%, then they come with two children with 11.2 % and three children with 9.1%.
