“Option of the resignation is made in order to create preconditions for securing the three-year full mandate of AGK chairman and avoiding the situation of repeating elections after 9 months for chairman and board members, ahead under the regular” calendar, the report said.
The board considers that under circumstances created and based on the AGK statute, this is the best solution that would ensure a more comprehensive and depressive electoral process by mobilizing more membership for the simultaneously selection of all AGK bodies.
The board's “members thank membership for the current support as they wish for an open, transparent and fair electoral process”, the communique says.
