Struga, is one of the settlements that organizing weddings and other family joys contributes much to the local economy as well, because significant financial means are spent on them that drive some sectors of the economy.
This fact has influenced many businessmen to invest in the construction of wedding halls, and there is already no large settlement without one or two. Also, other businesses have been established, such as production companies, beauty salons, the decorum company that their financial survival ensures their weddings completely. It is estimated that more than 10m euros are spent on the wedding season in Struga.
A minimum wedding amounts to 10,000 euros, up to hundreds of thousands of euros, depending on the families they spend on these parties.
Wedding and hotel agencies, which first events have arranged weddings and ceremonies, as well as other family joys link them to the fact that the exiles and resident citizens of Struga, choose this period for wedding arrangements as a result of the summer holidays of a large part of the strugs living and working in the Western world who still prefer that their joys even further celebrate their homeland.
