Only 4.2 per cent of Serbs support Kosovo recognition

While partitioning Kosovo into the Serb and Albanian part supports one-third of respondents, every second citizen of Serbia considers that a referendum should be announced regarding the final solution for Kosovo. Thus shows a survey conducted by the Serbian New Political Thought, reports the Belgrade weekly “Vreme”.
49.4 percent of respondents - against 34 percent - were declared for the referendum, while 16.6 percent were without attitude.
According to this 71.5 percent of respondents are opposed to granting consent to Kosovo's admission to the UN as a condition for Serbia's entry into the European Union, 12 percent are per cent; 16.5 per cent had no answers.
The research conducted from July 12th to July 19th shows that for the delay in resolving Kosovo's problem “for a better time” are 43 per cent of citizens, partitioning in the Serbian and Kosovo Albanian part supports one third of citizens, respectively 33.4 per cent of respondents, 19.4 per cent were unanswered, whereas 4.2 per cent think Kosovo's independence should be accepted, Kohanet broadcast.
