Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic has said she would be happy to visit Belgrade, even though she thinks that for such a visit the Serbian government would issue specific demands, writes Novosti, Periscopi broadcasts.
However, Kitarovic has said he fears that such a thing would increase tensions with Serbia, on the anniversary of the famous Oluja [Stuhia] operation that took place in 1995.
“I fear my visit will increase tensions between Serbia and Croatia. We need to hold ourselves with dignity as in victory, as in all we do”, she has told Deutsche Welle.
Croatia's military-copal action, writes Periscope, marks the 23rd anniversary on August 4th and 5th, where 200 to 250 thousand Serbs were expelled and other thousands were killed or still missing, in what marks Victory Day as well.
Kitarovic thinks Operation Storm was clean, and those to be condemned by the ranks of Croatians for war crimes were also convicted. /Periscopi
