Pian, described as the big <x0) sized” of the Perth Zoo, was euthed on Monday due to age complications.
She had been in the zoo since 1968 and was officially recognized by the world recordr of “Gwinness”, as the oldest of its species in 2016.
A endangered species is rarely 50 years old.
Pian is believed to have been born in a jungle in Sumatra, Indonesia, in 1956. Pian left an incredible <x0).252 children's” and a total of 54 offspring throughout the United States, Europe and elsewhere.
