About 2,000 immigrant children have been separated from their families over the past six weeks, on the border between the United States and Mexico.
This came after an order by the Trump administration to stop all those who cross or illegally cross the border, causing them to lose custody of their children.
This issue is causing a growing political situation in the United States, while Attorney General Jeff Sessions mentioned the Bible last week to protect access to “Zero tolerance.
This means that all those immigrants who have been illegally crossing the border are already prosecuted, unlike previous legislation, which envisioned only a fine for those who were illegally introduced for the first time.
So all adults who have been through the border illegally are arrested and sent into custody, while their children are classified as unaccompanied minors.
