Ankara launched the 826km wall construction project along the Syrian border in 2015. The project's goal is to boost border security, as well as reinforce the fight against trafficking and illegal passage, the Anadolu Agency reports.
The border between Turkey and Syria, in which civil war lasts from 2011, is a total of 91 km.
The wall has ended along the border in the provinces ãonalıurfa, Gaziantep, Chile, Hatay, Mardin and ırnak.
The official added that eventually there are works on the 144km-long security wall on the border with Iraq.
