Lezha police have arrested a 40-year-old man who was transporting mines with remote controls. Edward Sinanaj from Tirana, was caught traveling to the Milot-Lezha road axis at the site called the Lezha Island. In the trunk of his Peweot car, six mines with remote remote controls were found inside a wheel of cart. The 40-year-old Sinanaj was arrested for trafficking in arms and ammunition, while police say he has been convicted before of providing assistance for illegal border crossings.
