An Albanian criminal group operating in Italy has been sentenced by the court in Italy today. According to the court ruling, members of the gang have been sentenced to a total of 63 years in prison because they were accused of trafficking drugs from the Netherlands to Italy.
The Albanian orgy convicts are: Alfred Shaban, 43, sentenced to 11 years in prison and 1,000 euros in fine; Lulzim Halili, 37, sentenced to 11 years in prison and 1,000 euros in fine; Valentin Lolesh, 31, sentenced to 11 years in prison and 1,000 euros in fine; Gezim Shoshi, 57, sentenced to 21 years in prison and 1,000 euros in fine. Also convicted are drivers of TIR-type vehicle carrying narcotics, Mauro Alvise Cauzzo 66 from Venice, sentenced to 9 years in prison and 35 thousand euros in fines. Neighboring authorities discovered that the group of Albanians came from the Shkodra area in northern Albania and called <x0malare” after speaking a strong dialect which has made wiretapping difficult for them.
The gang's leader was Gezim Shoshi, who handled the management of the money for the purchase of cocaine in the Netherlands, as well as the distribution in Lombard. The Albanians put drugs in Italy through vehicles driven by various couriers, where over every package of cocaine was marked by letters the city's name or areas where it would be distributed.
