Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has been launched into a lobby in Europe in order to persuade EU member states to liberalise visas for our society, writes Periscopi.
The team Wessel has taken with him is pretty weird. The compound is Glauk Konjufca, Aida Drdguti, Fikrim Damka, Evgeni Thaci, and ten other deputies, including former President Rugova's daughter, Teuta.
But the latter is not known for its public speaking skills since she has never spoken alone in the Kosovo Assembly. She has not opened her mouth about any matter, simply being content with her presence in the hall. Teuta Rugova's contribution to the visa removal lobby thus remains very controversial. Which also makes this lobbiing trip too controversial.
But besides this journey on the visa issue Teuta will have between her and the visit there is another link. Her brother, Uka, had done business with Italian state visas, thus exploiting visa non-liberalisation for the country's citizens. If visas were liberalised earlier, Teuta Rugova's family business would be damaged.
This is another issue that questions the seriousness of Rugova's lobby engagement, and the whole team. /Periscopi
