Recent statistics show that keeping weapons privately is on the rise, with rich countries leaving behind developing countries, and those out of war.
In a detailed report, Small Arms Survey has researched weapons numbers in 230 different countries in the world, reports Guardian, reports Periscope.
Their latest report that has examined the ownership of self-fulfilling revolvers and pistols, hunting couples, etc. It has shown that there are about 1 billion worldwide firearms an increase of 17% compared to the last decade.
Most of the weapons are estimated to be held by civilians [85%]; while the order agencies and the military have 13%.
Although the United States has only 4% of the world's population, they have 40% of the world's weapons. /Periscopi
