Like other times, it was Belgrade that first confirmed the summit at the high level of dialogue and then confirmed it, the European Union writes today Koha Ditore.
This time the meeting of the two presidents, Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vuciq, will take place on Sunday, June 24th, a day before EU foreign ministers meet in Luxembourg, who will also approve conclusions Tuesday on enlargement and the Stabilisation and Association Process.
The meeting of the two presidents will be Sunday due to the tight agenda of EU high representative Federica Moghrini, and Serbia's president, Vuciq. Meanwhile, the development of this meeting before new chapters are opened in Serbia's negotiations with the EU are seen as an attempt to help Belgrade prove that it is committed to continuing dialogue.
Progress in this dialogue is a condition for Serbia in the process of membership negotiations with the EU.
