Despite the public commissioner's appeal, the KPA has made the decision today that former Adriatic Chief Prosecutor Lella is not subject to the Vetting process.
The commissioner argued that the former General Prosecutor, despite his resignation from justice, continues to have magistrate's status, and therefore his resignation does not result in proper performance. The commissioner's argument set the example of two retired judges near the KLD during the veto.
However, the Special College of Appeals argued that the chief prosecutor's resignation was under the rules, and the Adriatic Lella would not submit to the Vetting process.
“The Special Appeal by majority decided: halting the re-evaluation process for the Adriatic Llala. The ban on his appointment, judge, prosecutor or KLD member over a period of 15 years”.
The former chief prosecutor did not participate in the held hearings, while after issuing a procurement was represented by his lawyer, Sokol Hazizaj.
