Citizens may be less secure if the Together Kingdom should leave key police agreements after Brexit, British Prime Minister Theresa May has said.
Great Britain has said the European Union is blocking agreements on prosecution of terrorists and information sharing after March 2019.
The EU on the other hand has stated that at the moment Great Britain becomes the third “pa,”, there can be no access to police initiatives.
The British prime minister has called on the leaders of “consider what is in the best interest of our citizens and your”.
Speaking at the summit in Brussels, May has said Britain's departure from the law enforcement scheme would imply that the ability to fight terrorism would be reduced.
“We would no longer have the opportunity to share the alarm at the right time, for those who are looking, including serious criminals”, she said.
This isn't what I want, and I believe you don't want that, either.”, is expressed by the British leader.
According to her, European leaders should carry the message to their negotiators to allow the United Kingdom access to DNA profiles, the Schengen area information system, the database for alarms at the right time, and access to information in the European Criminal Rights Information System.
