The small number of Serbs have already come to Gazimestan, where they annually celebrate the Battle of Kosovo, which they consider their victory.
With Serbia's flags on hands, they gathered at this site where in 1389 the battle had taken place between Serbs and Turks.
They are expecting to be addressed by one of the religious clergymen. Otherwise in Gazimestan, Serbian Defence Minister Alexander Vulin is scheduled to come, but he has been barred from entering by Kosovo authorities.
In Gazimestan, but even in the roads leading to Mitrovica, increased police forces are observed.
The situation so far is calm.
