Although it was once said that a segment of this highway would begin this year, it has been postponed for the coming year.
The total length of the Nis- Merdar Highway is 77km. Earlier it had been suggested that it would not cost 855m euros.
According to media from Belgrade, it is unknown how this road will be financed, while the European Investment Bank has warned that on credit it will support Serbia's connection with Kosovo.
