Serbian minister says never to compromise Kosovo

Dialogue on normalisation of reports with Kosovo, Serbs have often said they love it and are ready for compromise. But a Serbian government minister seems to have changed words

Nenad Popovic, minister of innovation and Technological Development, has said that “Kosovo is the heart and soul of Serbia”.

As a result, according to Popovovici, there can be no compromise between the two states, the news broadcasts.net.

“The Serbs have long history of war. Kosovo is where Serbia was born. Kosovo is our heart and soul. We cannot compromise with our heart, soul and values”, Popovic said of a Jerusalem magazine.

According to him, NATO bombings were the main factor in creating a state, which he says is not a state.

The emphasis again that they will never recognise Kosovo, and will not allow UN membership.

“According to our constitution and Resolution 1244 Kosovo is Serbia's territory. Although the US and many EU countries have recognised Kosovo as a state. But Kosovo will never be an independent country. We do not recognise Kosovo, we will not allow Kosovo's membership in the UN”, the Serbian minister says further.

At the time that Vuciq continues to make sensational statements that Kosovo is not wanting dialogue, this Serbian government position emerges on the very day the two presidents meet in Brussels.

Such nationalist statements are repeatedly brought by senior Serbian officials.
