Selimi: Hashim Thaci defending dialogue project is protecting Serbia's interests

In a proposal for Periscope, Selimi says his decision to meet in Brussels with Vuciqi, without gaining the approval of the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo Assembly, shows a humiliation Thaci makes to Kosovo's citizens and deputies.

“He even ignores citizens and representatives of citizens to shame. Kosovo has long been not negotiating with Serbia, and even talks are not in the Kosovo-Serbia relationship, nor Pristina-Belgrade, for some time now, the talks are Thaci-Vucciq”, Selimi has told Periscope.

Selimi says that already Thaci is speaking on behalf of Serbia, putting out the Kosovo Assembly and citizen.

Asked about the agreements that could arise from these Thaci talks in Brussels, Selimi has said they would only be painful for Kosovo, as the whole dialogue is a project protecting Serbia's interests.

“Normically these agreements will only be painful for Kosovo, because the whole dialogue is Serbia's project, such as Serbia's interest, and that by defending the dialogue project is also protecting the interests of Serbia”, the deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement for Periscope has indicated.

Selimi says all these talks are aimed at fighting Kosovo's independence. Serbia will benefit, however, more than Kosovo has now. These talks are known to originate after Kosovo's declaration of independence, and as such are not designed to advance Kosovo's independence, but to make it the opposite, and Serbia benefits”, he has said.

According to him, Thaci would not have to represent Kosovo at all in the talks with Serbia, as he does not protect the country's interests. “There is nothing to share with Serbia, whether it has divided the past and we should not be in these talks at all, and much less Kosovo in these talks should not represent Kosovo. who does not defend Kosovo's interests”, Selimi has concluded.

Federica Mogherin's office confirmed that Thaci and Vuciq will meet in Brussels on Sunday.
