Returning to Retrial Even Case 1H (Dok)

The Supreme Court has decided that the case “Drenica 1” will be restored to retrial. Lawyer Tome Gashi has announced that the case -- Dedrenica 1л, including former KLA General Staff Commander Sylejman Selimi and former Scikyright Chairman Sami Lushtaku -- has turned into retrial.

Gashi has announced that in the final days of his work, the mission EULEX '%s' has announced the defence side that their complaint has been approved and that the case -- Drenica 1H -- is turned into retrial.

According to him, injustice has been proven against Selimi and all other KLA soldiers charged with the case.

The ultimately intentional injustice to the commander of the KLA General Staff will end, and soon he must be acquitted. We remember that with the initial act by the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, Selimi had been sentenced to 14 years in prison for cases “Drenica 1 and 2”, until a complaint of defence attorneys issued in 2016, the Court of Appeals had dropped the verdict from 14 years to 10 years in prison. After the plea of defence attorneys was partially approved, the sentence was dropped for another two years.
