Record of military expenses for 2017, is the world going to war

For 2017, $139 billion was spent on weapons and armies. In 2017 these expenses increased 1.1% compared to 2016. For 2017, $139 billion was spent on weapons and armies. In 2017 these expenses increased 1.1% compared to 2016. This data was presented by the Stockholm International Institute for Peace (SIPRI) in its latest report.
The countries that raised expenditures are US, China, Saudi Arabia, India and Russia.
The expenses of these five countries represent 60% of the world's total expenditures.
In the European Union, more has been spent on Great Britain, followed by France, Germany and Italy.
SIPRI was created in 1966.
