Recica expresses commitment to creating new jobs for minorities

At the conference for project “The Socio-Economic Stability of Ethnic Minority and Majority Communities in Kosovo”, supported by MPMS and implemented by German organisation “ASB” and Foundation P REDA Plus, Minister Recica, stressed that the objectives of this project are to create new jobs and generate revenues for many families.

Recica called it a special day because the project to hire a family member who has no employee launched in Prizren weeks ago is seeing the implementation light today.

The objectives of this project are clear - creating new jobs and generating incomes for many families, and we, like MMPS, vow that we will be committed to all of our potential to achieve these objectives on time. For these projects to have institutional support in suggesting co-operation we have signed even a co-operation agreement with ASB Director Elmir Bojadzic, who aims to advance social groups through implementation of the project, the initiative for social dimension. All these projects have to do with improving the lives of Kosovo citizens and their well-being”, Recica said.

Recica stressed that unemployment is its main concern and MPMS, and that is why they are working very hard on improving the situation.

Arbeiter Samarter Bund's Regional Director for Southeast Europe, Elmir Bojadzic, has conveyed the message that they will continue to draw funds from donors to support Kosovo with much more.

“We have very good partnership here with the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia and Kosovo through the wonderful SBA staff. So it's easy to work for us. On behalf of all staff, I on this stage am conveying the message that we will continue to withdraw funds from various specially structured donors in Germany and the European Union and we will help Kosovo be a better place than it is now”, Bojadzic said.

While, PRDA Plus Foundation director Marijana Milevska stressed that PRDA Plus Foundation relies on international partners, the country's ministries and municipalities, and co-operating through various initiatives and mobilised funds to find solutions for specific problems and improve people's lives.

“over the last eight years we like PredDA Plus with headquarters in Skopje and Prizren have worked in 18 municipalities, we have mobilised more than 3m euros to improve or serve more than 60 thousand people”, she said.

During yesterday's day, MPMS and German organisation “Arabier - Samarter-Bund (ASB)” has signed Memorandum Co-operation aimed at advancing the support of various social groups through implementation of the Social Dimension Initiative project
