Athens was paralyzed by remarkable rainfall, which caused floods in some areas of the Greek capital.
Civil protection reported that it received 160 calls for assistance in the Mandra area and Nea Peramos in southeast Athens, the same area where floods claimed several lives last winter.
Tens of people have been evacuated last night, and many roads have been closed.
Rainfall problems have also been reported at the Halkidiki resort in the north and near Larissa in central Greece.
