About four months after a patient was denied assistance at QKUK, this institution has decided on the case of a surgeon of this institution, who has refused to offer patient services, writes Koha Ditore today.
Annie why surgeon Enver Fekaj himself admitted that he had not treated the patient because of “conflict” with him, the CKUK disciplinary Commission has not found the case guilty.
The reason I didn't want to perform his operation was because of the insults he was made to me. And the moment I was about to take this patient's hand, the operation was so complicated and there could be any consequences. And to avoid any misunderstandings, that I could have done something deliberately, I didn't want to take it into my hand at QKUK”, Fekaj said in February of this year, when the patient denounced the case.
The parents of this patient, except that he was accused of not treating their son, claimed that this doctor even asked for money. But Fekaj said he was joking when he made that request.
