Protesters who gathered in front of the Parliament last night and part of the organisers who delivered appeals speeches so that tomorrow (day) they will protest at 11 o'clock, always before the Assembly, to prevent the adoption of the agreement changing the country's name from the Republic of Macedonia to the Republic of Northern Macedonia, as well as other constitutional changes.
Last night, groups of citizens again came together before the Assembly in protest against the name agreement. In protest were calls “Macedonia”, “A name we have”, “Zaev traitor” and other calls. Protesters have also given support to the country's president, Djordje Ivanov, broadcast Alsat M.
Protests began on the day Prime Minister Zoran Zaev declared the agreement, while last night they were breaking through with violence. The interior ministry informed that 17 people, out of whom 10 police officers have been injured, while 26 persons from the ranks of violent protesters have been arrested. According to the police report, those detained by force had postponed police barricades, stoned police and other pyrotechnic means, with the attempt to enter the Assembly. Part of the protests are some newly formed minority parties, which have pro-Russian orientations.
