The chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, Jeanish Malokun, has spoken about the arrest of police officials.

Maloku said police officials have not carried out their commitments in a case of theft at a shopping centre in Gjilan and a ATM located at the same centre.

Three cops have been suspended. The same have been arrested and have been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours by the competent prosecutor. It has all resulted from neglect of their obligations as police officials. It's about stealing or robbing at the mall “Agmia” in Gjilan. Police officials have been informed of the robbery and have not taken measures. They have seen the suspects and have not been prosecuted and made no warning at the base, nor have they asked for assistance”, Gjilan's chief prosecutor said.

He added that police officials have been arrested and the investigation into the case has expanded.

We are investigating the case. In the same case, it's about a police patrol that was static was on the street, but it didn't participate in the action of suspects”, Maloku told KALLXO.com.

Asked whether the detention measure would be required for police officials, Maloku said this has not yet been decided without the investigation process completed.
