According to the Special Prosecutor's Act, the defendant R.D., in 26.05.2017, willingly and consciously started to travel to Syria in order to join the Military Organizations in Syria.
After his departure to the Republic of Turkey, authorities from the Republic of Kosovo have applied for his return to Kosovo. The defendant R.D., on the date of 02.06.2017, has been held in Turkey, meanwhile, on the date 14,05.2017, has returned to Kosovo.
With these actions, he committed criminal work “reunification or participation in the army or foreign police, in paramilitary foreign formations or before police, in group organisations or individually”, outside the territory of the Republic of Kosovo from Article 3 paragraph 3 of the Law for prevention and joining armed conflicts outside the country of L-05002.
