The government of the past mandate, run by Isa Mustafa, in September 2016, had agreed with the company's representatives on extending the works on the highway for a cost of 14.8m euros. This annex-constract was approved by the Interministerial Steering Committee on September 30th that year and sent to the Government for approval. The implementation of the deal had stalled and Government Mustafa had taken no action for the financial obligation stemming from it.
Our prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has mentioned exactly the delays, as the reason why so many means have been provided for the company.
We didn't have enough to pay for it, because we found it paid for 14 million that the previous government left here. And out of this debt has been created 53 million times”, Haradinaj said Friday in the Assembly.
