Melza Haradinaj-Stubla, adviser to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has said that thanks to his chief's insistence on Kosovo's membership in the World Customs Organisation, today Russia and Serbia failed to suspend Kosovo's status as a full member of this organisation.

It has indicated that it was Prime Minister Haradinaj who insisted that Kosovo should exercise full rights during the OBD Secretary General's vote, as belongs to a sovereign and independent state.

Her full mail:

When it was thought that it could be challenged by acknowledging the idea of doubting Kosovo's existence, Prime Minister Haradinaj insisted that Kosovo should exercise its full rights during the OBD Secretary General's vote, just as it belongs to a sovereign and independent state.

Thanks to this insistence, Russia and Serbia failed to suspend Kosovo's status as a full member of the WTO.
