“We need more migration and will not tolerate any xenophob” debate, Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa stressed under the applause of Socialist supporters during a party congress, the ATSH writes.
Witnessing its opening policy, Portugal was this week among the countries that agreed to expect a portion of the migrants aboard the humanitarian ship “Lifeline”.
While hours before European Union leaders reached a seemingly negotiated agreement Friday on this important issue, the Portuguese socialist executive took measures to make it more attractive to migration.
