Police are still in contact with Islam Pacolli

Police spokesman Agron Borovci has said AKR deputy Islam Pacolli has not yet appeared in the police and they have not yet contacted him, to provide clarifications of the attack allegedly carried out against a security officer at the Ministry of Justice.

“No, we still haven't contacted Pacolli”, Borovci said.

Borovci has indicated that police have tried to contact Pacolli, but they say they're waiting for him to appear.

“... considering that he is a public person I believe will appear at the first moment”.

Hours ago, the deputy himself Islam Pacolli, in a Facebook post, has declined, saying he is committed to rule of law. He does not mention the attack on the police, which was confirmed by the police themselves.

In order to inform the right information of public opinion, through this scripture I take the opportunity to expose the writing of several information portals which have dezinated the public by stating that “Islamic Deputet Pacolli has been arrested because of the disregard of the order by a state official”.

Constased from relevant portals is untrue and as such, this is a personal attack against me with a tendency to damage my public image.

“As the deputy of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, elected to represent the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I remain committed to continuing to strictly respect the Constitution, the laws in power, as well as the institutions of our state. At the same time, I call on the responsible persons to withdraw from such public opinion dezinations”, Pacolli wrote on the social Facebook network.
