Institutions of the Balkan region, which are competent for organising the fifth condition of Islam, Haxhi, have already begun preparations, while hacker records are continuing further.

The departure of Muslims to the pilgrimage from the region will take place over the next month.

According to Anadolu Agency (AA) data provided by competent religious institutions of countries in the region, for carrying out this condition of pilgrimage Islam would pay a higher amount of money compared to last year.

According to the reasonings of the religious communities of countries in the region, increasing the price for performing the pilgrimage comes from price hikes in Saudi Arabia.

The highest amount for the pilgrimage will pay believers from Bosnia and Herzegovina (4,200 euros) and Macedonia (4.100 euros), while believers from Albania will pay the lowest price of 3,500 euros.

Macedonia with a price hike of around 720 euros

From the Muslim Religious Community of the Republic of Macedonia (BFI) for AA indicates that for this year's pilgrimage, the country's pilgrimages will pay out 4,100 euros, which last year was $3,900 (about $3,380 euros), which means that performing the pilgrimage this year will be about 720 euros more expensive than last year.
“The most advanced hotel conditions, safer and more comfortable trips, rising the price of different taxes and staying in the tents of Arafat, dictate a slightly higher price than it was in 2017”, highlighted by the BFI.

BFI announces that the registration of hackers is continuing as the launch takes place on 9 August and 10 August of this year. This year, the number of hackers is expected to reach 1,000, while last year there were 840 hajis.

Kosovo with a 400 euro price increase

From the Haxhi and Umre Directorate near the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) for AA announces that this year's price for hackers is 3,800 euros. The price differs from the previous years, marking 400 euros' growth compared to last year, when the price was 3,400 euros.

The reason for rising prices is that prices in Saudi Arabia have increased and for the first time has added T VSH and taxes in Saudi Arabia, which did not exist before”, reports the Directorate of Haxhi and Umres near BIK.
From there they expressed expectations that the number of hackers this year will be around 1,100.

Albania at lowest price in region

According to data from Albania's Muslim Community, the tariff for Haxhi for 2018 is 3,500 euros. While the total price for performing Haxhi for Muslim believers from Albania for 2017 was 3,000 euros, which means that this year the pilgrimages will pay 500 euros more.
Registers for pilgrimage to this country continue until June 26, 2018, and will have a deadline extension.

BiH at highest price in region

As for the price BiH Muslims must pay to perform the pilgrimage, it is the highest in the region. Believers in this country must pay 8,150 convertable marks (4,200 euros) to go to the pilgrimage.
Haxhi and Umres Office Director Nezim Halilovic confirmed that this year at least 1,680 hackers from BiH will go to the pilgrimage to perform the fifth condition of Islam. Last year, they completed the pilgrimage 1,738 pilgrimages, and a year earlier, 1,407 pilgrims.

Youth from Serbia, pilgrimages will travel live flights

Meanwhile, the pilgrimage from Serbia will have to pay 3,600 euros for the pilgrimage and residence, while if one of Serbia's believers has been on the pilgrimage for the past three years, he will have to pay an additional 500 euros.
Reis-ul-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia, Sead Nasufovic, for AA, indicated that this year at the pilgrimage from Serbia will go to at least 235 Hadnza, while adding that this figure is not final.
The departure for Serbia's pilgrimage will be organised from August 10th to August 15th, while this year's innovation compared to the next years is that they will travel on a live flight.

More than 50 pilgrimages to be launched from Montenegro this year

From the Islamic Community in Montenegro indicates that the pilgrimage award is higher than the current price of 300 euros, reaching 3,800 euros this year.
This year to date, 54 believers from Montenegro have applied for the pilgrimage, while from the Islamic Community of this country expect the final figure to be about 60 believers. Last year 83 pilgrimages began from Montenegro, and the number of pilgrims was 50 in 2016.

This year 15 Muslim believers from Croatia go to the pilgrimage

From the Islamic Community in Croatia, they say that this year they expect 15 Muslim believers organised by their institution to travel to the pilgrimage, which is double the number of pilgrims compared to 2017. The call for the hacker's presentation remains open.
However, even the cost of arrangement is not defined, because the pilgrimages from Croatia, due to the small number, are expected to join the large number of hajis from BiH, and the price will be the same as for citizens of that country.
