The commission's deputy chairman, Ganimete Musliu, has spoken in a supervulative for Maxhun, KTV reports.
They hope that the good image he had given the police while he was the director will also carry him to AKI.
Musliu said that Maxhu 18 times exceeded the verification.
It has assured citizens that the security situation in Kosovo is good, though the north continues to challenge security. Musliu, however, has added that the situation is under control.
Musliu has not spoken of the case of six Turks expelled from Kosovo. He has said the final word will be delivered by the Parliamentary Investigative Commission.
Just the case of six Turkish citizens brought Maxun from police to the helm of AKI, following the dismissal that the prime minister's president of the then director, Driton Gashi.
