Laura Murray Cioco filed an indictment against the American Space Agency NASA at the US District Court in Kansas.

It's a precautionary measure to determine the ownership of the moon particles she possesses in case any NASA team does not intend to say the sample is theirs.

Her lawyer, Chris McHugh, said Laura took the souvenir from the moon from astronaut Neil Armstrong.

NASA has long claimed that all the material taken from the moon belongs to the American authorities, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.

But Cioco claims that the sample of Armstrong, the first man to violate the surface of the moon, donated to her father, Tom Murray, who, with astronaut, became a friend while attending lessons at the Cincinnati University Aeronautic Engineering Department.

The gift was dedicated to Laura, accompanied by a message reportedly signed by Armstrong, with which the astronaut desired her much happiness.
